Joan Guire-Black 3 hours ago Tonight my heart is heavy. Someone I have been a friend with all of my life slipped from this earth into glory. He fought the fight of diabetes and COPD for years and it took its toll on his body but his laughter was contagious and his spirit fared well. Our families connected in so many ways going as far back as our grandparents. Gary yesterday when we talked and laughed we didnt know today would be your last but God spoke and said Come on home now son You have suffered long enough. Im so glad that when I came to pray with you a few weeks ago you repented and accepted Jesus into your heart.... thats the only thing that makes this passing bearable for your children and those that loved you. Our friendship could never be explained..... it just had to be experienced. It was good.... it lasted a lifetime. Until we meet in another place and time rest in peace my precious friend. In honor of my friend Gary Williams.
