Job Description :Performs all duties required to lay out, fabricate, and install electrical wiring or coaxial cable on aircraft. Checks, tests, and troubleshoots electrical systems for conformance to specifications and performs repair, removal, and reinstallation of wiring as necessary. Cuts wire to length, strips insulation from wire ends, and insulates connections with plastic sleeves. Attaches wire or complicated electrical systems to fixtures and accessories such as transformers, instrument panels, and switchboards with fasteners such as bolts, screws, or solder. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Vocational or similar training, including shop math to interpret and work from blueprints, electronic data, specifications, manuals, operations work sheets, and verbal instructions. Maintain required certifications. Note: Designated employees in this job classification may be required to handle, transport, and/or participate in clean up of minor hazardous waste spills. Prior to performing any of the above activities, designated employees will have satisfactorily completed training in Hazardous Waste Handling. General Physical Requirements Lifting, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, grasping, holding, reaching, pushing and pulling are generally required to perform the functions of this position. Requirements :HS Diploma 4 years additional education or AA Degree or equivalent years of experience.
