Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification is required. Fire brigade training is required. Strong communication skills Description: Our client located in Salisbury, with locations throughout the Eastern Shore is seeking an experienced safety coordinator. The successful candidate will coordinate the Safety Program of this organization. Supervises the daily activities of a section of the Facilities Management Department. Recommends and supports goals and objectives that are consistent with the mission statement. Delivers exceptional quality and service to all customers. Example of Duties Performs daily safety rounds and seeks resolutions to identified issues. Investigates accidents and safety issues. Coordinates all safety related inspection activities with outside agencies. Investigates and coordinates hazardous Material Incidents. Reviews and remains abreast of all current Federal, State, Local regulation. Designs and implements processes and procedures to maintain compliance. Provides Safety education to all new employees at orientation. Serves as the training officer for the Department of Facilities Management. Insures the annual training of the Fire Brigade and the Hazardous Material Response Unit.
