Job Location: New Glasgow Position: Client Service Associate (CSA) - RPT (0.5) Employee Group: Regular PT VON is Canadas largest, national, not-for-profit, charitable home and community care organization. VON is committed to continuous quality improvement and is accredited by Accreditation Canada. VON is currently looking to fill Client Service Associate (CSA) positions for our Nursing Program. The Service Delivery team will operate on a 7 days per week schedule. In addition to day shifts, the successful candidate must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays. Eventually there may be a requirement for on call coverage during the hours of 11PM - 7AM on a rotational basis. Responsibilities: •Work as part of the Service Delivery team in the intake of new clients, and the planning and maintenance of client visits and service records •Liaise with funders, clients and the care team in the community regarding services and information and is the first point of contact for all incoming service requests •Receive and process referrals and updates and responds to phone inquiries from community, customers, clients, doctors, service providers and other agencies •Coordinate all standardized data input, triaging of calls and information and the ongoing coordination of client service and service provider schedules and updates •Work closely with frontline nurses, supporting their day to day needs •Other duties/task as assigned by Manager Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Attention to Detail; Lift and carry using appropriate lifting techniques; Bend, push, pull, grip, reach, kneel, crouch using good body mechanics; Walk sit, stand, climb stairs; Repetitive fine hand movements Qualifications: •Previous experience working in health care sector and/or planning and scheduling would be considered assets •Diploma or certification in Medical Office Administration/Medical Terminology certification •2 to 3 years experience working in office administration preferably in a medical office environment and/or community health care organization •Ability to provide high quality customer service in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities and competing deadlines •Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, problem solving & critical thinking •Excellent communication skills; both written and oral •Demonstrated proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint •Bilingualism is an asset Compensation & Benefits Overview • Career advancement opportunities • Training and skills development • Flexible hours • Competitive compensation • Employee assistance program • Employee recognition programs Date Posted: 7/14/2014 City: New Glasgow Province: Nova Scotia [NS] Deadline Date: 7/20/2014 Hours Per Week: 18.75 Apply Now if you are interested in this job and we will walk you through the Online Application process on our site. careerbeacon/search/en/-1/1,2,3,4/31/-1/0/-1/-1,-1I/-1/-1/0/3/MB1407156562
