Job Opening at Lewis Nelson Construction Office Project Engineer / Construction Administrator Responsibilities: -Ability to read, interpret and implement Construction Plans, Specifications and Contracts -Ability to prepare well written correspondence between Contractors and Subcontractors, Material Suppliers, Owners and Architects/Engineers -Well organized and able to maintain accurate files and project documentation -Ability to interact with Project Superintendents and Project Scheduler to maintain project schedules -Ability to perform routine and special administrative tasks without excessive supervision -Organize, implement, expedite, review and process shop drawings, materials submittals between Subcontractors, Material Suppliers, Architects, Engineers and Superintendents -Organize, identify, implement and expedite Request for Information between Subcontractors, Material Suppliers, Architects, Engineers and Superintendents -Ability to estimate Change Orders and also Organize, identify, implement and expedite Change Orders between Subcontractors, Material Suppliers, Architects, Engineers and Superintendents Position requires someone with high energy, proven tack record of success, strong communication skills and analytical ability. Engineering, Constructions Management and/or Business Degree preferred.
