Job Position : Supplier Demand Supervisor (Equity Appointment) Ref : 1577 - Nicky Nienaber Location : Port Elizabeth Salary : Commensurate with experience and qualification Qualifications / Requirements: • National Diploma or BTech Degree in Logistics or Purchasing Management •Minimum 5 years experience in either Harness or Motor related industry advantageous •Good computer skills, especially in Ms Excel •Experience gained working in QAD advantageous •Willing to improve continuously with positive attitude and eager to new challenges •Deadline and results driven Key Performance Areas: • Overall control and integral fulfilment of the responsibilities of the area within his/her control •Supervising company scheduling system and controlling supplier schedule correctness and transmission in a timely manner •Controlling follow up of schedule fulfillment of suppliers and take proactive actions to avoid material shortages in production •Evaluate suppliers’ delivery performance and feedback to suppliers •Raw material inventory and dormant control; enhancing and controlling actions to reduce company’s risks and losses •Support component and raw material localization endeavours in close co-operation with central purchasing •Control of non-product purchasing activity and reporting system •Provide continuous on the job instructions in line with work procedures and actively discourage shortcuts •Contribute in his/her area to the achievement of company’s financial and logistics targets •Support if and when required to set up company’s targets in his/her area •Prepare management reports as and when requested with reliable data and in a timely manner •Support biannual wall to wall inventory and regular cycle count activity •Make sure that engineering changes are handled in a proper way to reduce company’s risks and in addition costs (run-out, run-in parts) •Regular control of system parameters and adjustment if and when necessary •Control of inbound standard and premium freight •Liaise with Quality control regarding supplier quality related issues •Work close with inventory controller and warehouses, production control and central purchasing •Make sure all procedures are respected and followed by the area within his/her responsibility •Implement and promote the accomplishment of company norms and policies Job Position : Customer Coordinator Analyst (Equity Appointment) Ref : 1570 - Nicky Nienaber Location : Port Elizabeth (Markman) Salary : Commensurate with experience and qualification Qualifications / Requirements: •National Diploma or BTech Degree in Logistics or Purchasing Management •Minimum 3 years related experience required •Excellent knowledge of Ms Excel •Ability to work under extreme pressure •Sound practical judgment of priorities •Good decision making and communication skills •Experience gained working in QAD advantageous •Must be willing to work overtime if required Key Performance Areas: •Responsible for providing information concerning changes and shipping to customer •Inter acting with customer on a professional manner pertaining to any production or material constrains •Ensuring that daily shipments accordingly to customer requirements is respected •Investigating and correcting errors, following company and customer records •Coordinating customers’ service requirements with other departments as necessary to ensure effective customer service •Determining the stock needed to maintain buffer •Participate in production volume analysis and help with the production forecast •Follow up product deliveries to the customers, and coordinate any possible delay with customer •Accomplish internal policies and norms •Support engineering changes •Dormant control •Database maintenance and use of customer system as required from supplier base •Support wall-to-wall inventory counts
