Job Posting: Mechanical Drafter/Designer This posting is for a full time (40 hrs/wk) position working in Soda Springs, ID. This person filling this position will be required to be comfortable working with many different styles of drawings. These include but are not limited to EFDs, PFDs, site maps, structural, piping, concrete, and architectural drawings. Excellent communication skills are required as this position will interface closely with engineers, operators throughout the plant, vendors, and other contractors. An Associates Degree in Drafting or a related field is desired. Non-degreed experienced candidates will also be considered. Compliance with all safety rules and programs is a condition of employment. Qualifications: -AutoCAD experience required. -Proficiency or ability to quickly become proficient with Microstation V8 and SolidWorks 2013. -Knowledge of MS Windows programs such as EXCEL, OUTLOOK, WORD, and the ability to manipulate files in a windows environment. -Excellent communication skills. -Detail oriented. -Ability to work well with others. Desired attributes: -0 -- 10 years experience in a drafting related field. -Associates Degree in Drafting, or related field. -Knowledge of manual drafting techniques a plus. -Microstation experience a plus. -SolidWorks experience a plus.
