Job Posting: Software Engineer with Tourico Holidays in Orlando, FL Monday, December 8 (Application Deadline) Tourico Holidays is currently seeking software engineers for the Professional Services graduate training group that begins in January. This is the Tourico Holidays 10-week fast track-training program that takes place at the companys purpose-built academy in the Orlando area. However, full-time positions within this department can be in Orlando, London, Buenos Aires, Tokyo, Berlin, Beijing or Hong Kong. The training is for experienced software engineers to be brought on to a new team at Tourico Holidays and for them to learn the many facets of the company and industry sector. The training will take place in conjunction with the Professional Services Analyst and Coordinator positions to ensure that new teams formulated can have improved traction from the start on their new projects. The professional services department integrates Tourico with its blue-chip clients from a sales and technology focus. It acts similarly to a consultancy in order to problem solve, map and communicate over large scale inter-company projects. All positions will require a significant portion of time on client site. Role & Responsibility: Engineer * Tier 1 technical support * Technical issues troubleshooting * Client behaviour analysis * Close iteration with R&D Requirements: * Information systems or Computer Science Degree. * Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce usable, maintainable documentation and excellent presentation. * Demonstrate problem solving abilities and initiative. * Familiarity with ASP.NET application installation & configuration (Advantage) * Understanding of automation practices throughout the development, build, and deployment phases of the application life-cycle. * Knowledge of networking as it relates to systems, security, TCP/IP, load balancing clusters, server load balancing, firewalls (Advantage) * Experience working with SQL (Advantage). * Knowledge of Windows Server OS and IIS Server (Advantage). * Work independently as well as with others * Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel * Demonstrated ability to develop and manage internal and external relationships * Willingness to travel overseas for 25% of the time * Second language preference: - Spanish/Portuguese - German - French - Chinese - Korean - Japanese Career Path: After a period of time for those who will be qualified, a position of Technical Account Engineer will be offered and will be based in one of the offices: Orlando, London, Buenos Aires, Tokyo, Berlin, Beijing or Hong Kong.
