HENNER’s headquarters is in Paris, France and we also have further administrative/sales offices in Boca Raton (USA), Curitiba (Brazil), Doha (Qatar), Geneva, Montreal & Toronto (Canada), Nairobi, Singapore, Tunis, allowing us to remain as close as possible to our clients. Currently, we administer claims for staff members in 192 countries on both a self-insured and insured basis. Among our customers are large UN Organizations and Programs, financial institutions, regional organizations, as well as small and mid-size intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations around the world. In line with our approach to better serving our clients by remaining as close as possible to them, we have decided to create the position of a local correspondent in Angola. The local correspondent will report to our Regional Office in Lisbon. The local correspondent will act as an intermediary between: • our beneficiaries, • our Clients HR representatives, • the Staff associations, • our medical providers • and the Henner Regional Lisbon Office. Key duties/responsibilities: Role with regard to our beneficiaries: • Inform members about medical plan benefits and procedures through a helpdesk, • Check that claims submitted by members are completed to ensure that they can be processed and therefore avoid unnecessary back and forth exchanges between members and Henner’s processing centre, • Receive claims, scan them and send paper copies to our Regional Office in Lisbon in order to reduce processing times, • Issue guarantees of payment for hospitalisation and ensure they are accepted by the local medical provider chosen by the patient, • Distribute ID cards and welcome packages further to the uploading of Eligibility files, • Handle complaints together with the Henner support department concerned. Role with regard to our medical providers: • Receive claims from providers, check patient’s eligibility, scan claims and send paper copies to our Regional Office in Tunis in order to reduce processing times • Meet with providers for bank reconciliation when necessary, • Meet with providers to introduce Henner in the course of the negotiation of contracts • Maintain contact with local providers to ensure smooth cooperation and report to the Network team accordingly • Assist in recovering any missing documents required to release claims for payment or facilitate medical approval • Train providers on Henner’s procedures Role with regard to HR representatives: • Liaise with HR to confirm the eligibility of members whose enrollment is pending, • Receive any requests relating to the administration of the plan, • Handle complaints raised by members.
