Job Title: Life Coach/Recreation Therapist/Independent Contractor Education/Experience: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, Recreation Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Life Coach, Counselor Job Description: Staff will provide home and community therapy services for Veterans with Traumatic Brain Injury, physical impairment, and/or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Services will include 1:1 care in the home and community, goal planning, activity planning, tailored treatment planning, case management conference call meetings, session notes, and monthly report tracking. Activities will be tailored to fit and meet the needs of individual clients and their families. Staff will serve as a life coach and guide for Veteran within his/her home town, helping create local ties to the community. Please note: This specific client is in need of 1:1 lower level care, sensory stimulation, and cognitive stimulation. As program progresses, community outings/community integration opportunities may be beneficial and encourage progress. Hours: 1-5 hours per week Location: Houston, TX located near Lake Houston All individuals should have the following: Resume Minimum of Bachelors Level Degree required.
