Job Title: Senior Configurations Engineer Reporting to: BIS Manager Key Role and Objective • To ensure that equipment is configured to site inspection specifications based on the sites requirements and customisations. • Support and assist onsite engineers with additional feature configurations and configuration changes during implementation which are required at sites. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Managing various aspects of the source configuration repository, including firmware, base configuration, etc. • To ensure that all equipment is dispatched with the most current firmware and essential updates at that point in time. • To ensure kits to be completed and bundled off in readiness for proposed installation date • To ensure replacement equipment is configured in a timeous manner based on SLA, for rework reducing clients down time. • Implementing and supporting configuration build updates and testing systems. • Maintaining and integrating updated scripts and other tools to enhance productivity. • Managing and administering SIP accounts on both Voipnow platforms, Axxess and Radius. • Maintaining packaging, installation and release of equipment. • To ensure accurate configuration and output of site inspection information to minimise re-work and deliver on target. • Proven ability to work with others as part of a team. • Ability to handle multiple tasks, multiple products in detail. • Ability to manage own time effectively in order to deliver equipment on target. • Demonstrate a professional approach and behaviours that aligns commitment to and delivery of brand values. • Adhere to and use all Information Technology and Information Security Policies & Procedures.
