Job Title Technical Specialist/Project Lead – Video Call us on : 9885678216 or sreenivas@dataservinc Experience: 7 to 10 years Team Video Development Group Job Role Software Development and Project Management: • Understanding the software development life cycle and processes • Work closely with systems, hardware, validation/reliability and manufacturing engineering disciplines • Write special test software for hardware and validation/reliability engineering • Balance sustaining and new product development projects • Write specifications, test plans and document designs • Lead and/or participate in software inspections and design reviews Technology, Architecture and Methodology: • Lead and/or contribute toward the optimization the software development flow, tools and processes from requirements to release • Lead and/or contribute toward the creation of modular SW architectures at the driver and application layers for Video hardware infrastructure Customer Focus: • Create, refine and clarify requirements with global team and leadership • Understand end users application of CCS products including integration patterns • Evaluate and respond to issues with minimum lag and wait time. Please work with the system to ensure to keep on fine-tuning the process for better results and throughput Quality: • Follow and contribute to engineering procedures and policies • Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives Strategic Leadership: • Provide the engineering organization with the technical leadership to continue producing high quality and reliable solutions for the company • Work diligently to ensure the said product is best in class in market and puts the company ahead of the competition Project Leadership: • Should be in capacity to lead a project from inception to delivery. Should be flexible enough to manage the vendors and delivery point of contacts with ease and should exhibit systematic and disciplined approach towards project leadership Primary Skills Required: • Prior exposure to programming around Video Codecs, video compression technics and rendering engines (OpenGL and DirectX). • Strong knowledge in Practical Packet Analysis: Using Wireshark to Solve Real-World Network Problems • Video programming experience using TCP/IP, RTP: Audio and Video Protocol Suite • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and other key computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance. • Expertise in designing and developing applications using n-tier architectures and service-oriented architectures (SOA). • Profound knowledge with SQL and relational database application development. Expertise SQL server application programming. Debugging and writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedure, triggers, views, indexing and profiling. • Strong .Net framework (2.0 to 4.0) knowledge and expertise in developing enterprise level applications using design patterns. • Strong working knowledge in C++, VC++ and MFC programming • Expert in next generation GUI application skills using win forms and WPF. (Windows controls, Custom controls, User controls etc). • Strong knowledge SOA framework and writing web services (server/client) using legacy and WCF (REST and SOAP) • Should have very strong Analytical skills and should be able to work with Global team spread across multiple locations • Strong knowledge in multithreaded programming. • Strong knowledge of COM (Component Object Model) • Good knowledge Network analysis tools (Wireshark) and Debugging tools like Windbg in windows • Hands on experience with COM interoperability (Consumption of VB, C, C++ libraries in .Net framework) • Hands of experience in third party control kit (Map controls, Infragistic, telric etc) • Experience with source control management such as SVN, Perforce, Mercurial • Good insight and exposure to Project Management Tools and techniques Secondary skills: Good to have • Experience designing, building and testing user interfaces • Proven ability to adapt quickly to emerging technologies • Understanding of source control branching and merging strategies, and Continuous integrations best practices • Understanding of build, release and configuration management best practices • Experience developing requirements documentation • Experience developing test plans and procedures • Experience writing technical documents • Experience with Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) • Experience with Crystal Reports • Experience with XML and JSON • Experience developing applications with C++ • Experience developing mobile applications (Blackberry, Android, iPhone, Windows Mobile) • Experience with AJAX or Silverlight Competencies • Ability to develop strong, long-term global peer relationships with ease • Excellent interpersonal skills • Professionalism consistent with a world-class service provider • Ability to work independently in a team environment Academic Qualifications: BE / B.Tech / M.Tech in CSE, ECE, EEE
