Job Description: Provide frontline security and protection of air travelers, airports and airplanes Potential Supervisor openings, with salary of $71,600 Essential Functions: • Responsible for identifying dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft. • Carry out duties in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service. • Use diverse, cutting edge electronic detection and imaging equipment. • Perform wanding, pat down searches, operation of x-ray machines, baggage screening and ticket review as needed. • Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: • Must be a US citizen • Must be proficient in the English language (i.e. able to read, write, speak and listen) • Must be 18 or older • Must pass a Drug Screening and Medical Evaluation • Must have high school diploma, GED or equivalent • Must be able to pass a Credit and Criminal Background check • No default on $7,500 or more in delinquent debt • Must be available to work various shifts, weekends and holidays Physical Demands: • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs • Job requires standing 100% of time • Constant standing, lifting, twisting and bending Work Environment: • At times the work environment can be fast paced and highly stressful • At times work environment can be crowded • Temperatures vary
