It has made a place for itself and offers an AICTE approved Post Graduate Program in Health and Hospital Management. It has a very vibrant and fasting growing research and training portfolio. In order the usher in higher level of professional management and manage its diversified and challenging marketing and research portfolio, the Institute is looking for a young, energetic and dynamic Business Development Officer, Training Officer and Research Officer. Business Development Officer Role: The prospective candidate will be a key member of the team and will help the Institute position its products in an increasingly challenging market. His/ her role will include helping to develop ambitious research projects, international training programs and student placements. Specific job responsibilities are: - Develop and operationalize strategies for marketing of the institute - Coordinate student activites such as alumni networking and placements - Develop and maintain relations with external stakeholders like potential partners, recruiters, clients and health professionals - Maintain the brand image and reputation of IIHMR Delhi and IIHMR as a group - Internet marketing including social media activities on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and other portals. - Coordination and assistance with research activities in the field of public health - Coordination and assistance with management development programs done for health professionals Besides these activities, candidates should willing to work beyond their role, if required. Qualification: The ideal candidate will be a Post Graduate in Marketing and/ or Communication with up to 3 years of experience in marketing and business development in a national level hospital/ NGO or a marketing firmin the healthcare sector. Desirable qualities: - Ability to think clearly will be a pre-requisite - Should be good with multi-tasking various tasks at hand - Dynamic individual with outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) - Comfortable working in a team as well as on an individual level - Proactive self-motivated individual with an optimistic attitude - Confident while talking to national and international clientele - Ability to work under work pressure - Should be a people person; comfortable while interacting with students, professionals, colleagues and top management Training Officer: Role: The candidate will be a part of the team for conducting national and international training programs in the field of health management. He or she will be the key coordinator for all training activities of the Institute. Specific job responsibilities are: - Design and develop training programs in co-ordination with faculty members and staff - Identify potential clients through research and networking - Develop long term relationships with potential clients - Plan and manage operations of the training programs Besides these activities, candidates should willing to work beyond their role, if required. Qualification:The ideal candidate will be a Post Graduate in Management with up to 3 years of experience in managing training programs in development sector. Desirable Qualities: - Ability to coordinate various activities at the same time - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) - Comfortable working in a team as well as on an individual level - Proactive self-motivated individual with an optimistic attitude - Confident while talking to national and international clientele - Should be a people person; comfortable while interacting with students, professionals, colleagues and top management Research Officer: Role: The candidate will be a part of the research team working on various projects in public health. Specific job responsibilities are: - Primary and secondary research on research projects - Data collection through primary and secondary surveys - Data analysis using various statistical tools like SPSS - Writing and editing project reports Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be a Post Graduate in Social Sciences, Public Health, Community Medicine, Management, Population Sciences and about 2 years of experience in research projects with a national level NGO. Preference will be given to someone who has managed large community based surveys.
