Job opportunity: Yard manager wanted to run busy polo yard. Applicants must have previous experience managing a yard, although it doesnt have to have been a polo yard. Must be friendly and have good people skills. Successful applicant would be responsible for up to 50 horses and two/three other staff members. There is the option to live in and also to bring own horse. Duties would include normal yard routine, keeping yard, arenas, lorries, horse walker and tack rooms clean and tidy. Supervising feeding and medications are given. Also the option to help with stud work and working alongside our onsite vets. A lorry license would be helpful.
