thai n i planted a very special garden today. part of my vision for it is complete. this rememberance garden is for noel and mia. its all purple and green, but opposites to the norm, all the foliage is purple and flowers are green. 3 purple coral bells circle a green jewel cone flower. for little 3 year old mia, and there are 10 minature ice green rose bushes for 10 year old noel. it is still a work in progress that began with the almost impossible removal of hundreds of daylillies. the back breaking eye burning sweat has been worth it to comemmorate these very precious and always remembered angels. next year hopefully all the purple clover ground cover will fill in around front, a weeping redbud ( they are a fortune but spectacular ) will be added along with mixed sized green and purple aliums. if anyone knows of any good purple foliage plants or green flowers let me know.
