Lets see if we can find his family, will you consider sharing this status?: My heart is heavy for this beautiful boy who will age out next month! Dear Samuel, I am praying that somehow you know there are families out there who are holding you in their hearts sweet boy. Please read what one sweet volunteer wrote about wonderful Samuel! When I visited Samuels orphanage last November with a medical team, I met many children. However, Samuel left a lasting impression. There was a younger child that was absolutely terrified of these strangers in the orphanage. He did not want to be examined by the medical team. This little boy was crying and shaking as the nanny tried to coax him into the room. I was told that earlier in the day when the developmental team needed to check him out that it was Samuel who calmed him down enough to come into the room. They needed his help again. I watched with tears in my eyes as this gentle and kind young man helped to soothe his younger friend. He never stopped smiling or looking at him. He gently patted and stroked his friends arm as they placed him down on the mats with the doctor. Orphanage life is hard, yet, this young man had such compassion! Samuel never left his friends side during the exam. His gentleness, warmth, and compassion touched my heart deeply that day. I know this child would be a great blessing to a family!
