Thursday, September 12, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. FREE Lunch provided It’s been 4 years since we’ve had a Strategic Planning Session! This is an exciting new opportunity to re-invigorate the Virginia Green Industry Council! A lot has changed since then, including economic changes, business strategies and climate, view of the status of the green industry, membership, volunteer leaders, activities at the State Fair, consumer education and social media. Therefore, the VGIC Executive Committee and arranged for Martha A. Walker, Ph.D., Community Viability Specialist, Virginia Cooperative Extension to facilitate this meeting. She is an expert on facilitating and keeping everyone on track. Below is our current mission for your reference. North (Ashland) Take I-95 South, exit onto Parham Road West. Proceed on Parham Road just past Route 33 (Staples Mill Road). The first left is Dixon Powers Drive.
