Job scope: Camp Master (7 points): • Oversees the whole progress of the camp. • Orientates the whole committee for camp preparation and execution. • Ensure coordination between groups. • Person of contact for external parties involved in the camp activities. • Ensure that the objectives of the camp are met. • Overall planning in charge. • In charge in preparing and finalizing the proposal for the Orientation Camp (Camp Nirvana Singapore 2014). • Liaises with SAO regarding on any aspect of the camp. Vice Camp Master (Program) (7 points): • Assist Camp Master in facilitating all programs of the camp. • In charge of overseeing the chief programmer and chief group leader. • Support and advice chief programmer regarding the program flow of the camp and revises the activities proposed. • Timekeeper for every activity during the camp. • Assist Camp Master in contacting external parties for activities and talks. • In charge in organizing the welcome tea during ECA week. Vice Camp Master (Support) (5 points): • Provides camp master with relevant support on resources through out the camp. • Coordinates the Welfare and Logistics team during the camp. • Work together with the logistic manager to look for suitable venues for the camp. • Vice Camp Master (Support) directly mediates contact with the temple or other external parties. • Contact person for all resource matters. • Help and support Vice Camp Master (Program) in Welcome Tea Secretary cum Financial Controller (5 points): • In charge of administrative matters in the camp. • Prepares budget for the camp. • Manages the budget and financial issues of the camp. • In charge of overseeing the publicity and publication manager as well as their team. • Records minutes of camp meetings and camp feedbacks. • Help and support Vice Camp Master (Program) in Welcome Tea Chief Programmer (5 points): • Come out with a detailed program flow (macro plan and microplan) for the camp. • Prepare for a trial camp to test out the activities at least one week before actual camp. • In charge of program flow and foresee changes throughout the camp. • In charge of serving the venerable and facilitate the talks in the camp. • Leads the programmers in planning the programs for the camp • Help and support Vice Camp Master (Program) in Welcome Tea • Up to 7 programmers (5 points) Chief Group Leader (5 points): • Facilitates all members through out camp activities. • Foster team bonding and fellowship. • To remind GL to take care of the welfare of the groups. • Be the main emcee of the camp. • Plan/Prepare all the songs that need to be sung during the camp. • Leads the group leaders in bonding their own groups. • Prepare the whole committee for all songs. • In charge of composing and teaching theme songs (if possible) that is suitable for the camp. • Help and support Vice Camp Master (Program) in Welcome Tea • 4 group leaders (3 points). Welfare Manager (5 points): • Caters the meals throughout the camp period and ensure no food is wasted. • Takes care of the welfare of all the participants of the camp. • Ensures the cleanliness of the venue throughout the camp. • Prepare the floor plan for the camp. • Prepares and make sure the first aid kit is complete for the camp. • In charge of contingency plans, including first aid and safety. • Help and support Vice Camp Master (Program) in Welcome Tea • 4 welfare subcomms (3 points). Logistic Manager (5 points): • Work together with the Vice Camp Master (Support) to look for the venues for the camp. • Coordinates with other portfolio for preparation of materials, equipment and props. • In charge of arranging the transportation and storage for the camp. • Find and ensure the accommodation and comfort of lodging. • Help and support Vice Camp Master (Program) in Welcome Tea • 4 logistic subcomms (3 points). Publicity Manager (5 points): • Publicize the camp to freshmen. • Design of flyer, poster and camp video for publicity purposes to promote the camp. • Producing the camp video together with Publicity team. • Prepare the poster for Welcome Tea during ECA week. • Work on par with Publication Manager • Help and support Vice Camp Master (Program) in Welcome Tea • 3 Publicity subcomms (3 points) Publication Manager (5 points): • Design of camp booklet, and camp T-shirt. • Photos shoot throughout the camp. • Producing the camp video together with Publicity team. • Work on par with Publicity Manager • Help and support Vice Camp Master (Program) in Welcome Tea • 4 Publication subcomms (3 points). *Each port folio job scope is not confined to the above as mentioned. When new tasks arise, it is subjected to the Camp Masters allocation. *
