Jobs Committee Update: - On December 10, 2013 the committee met with Councilman Bill Bishop to research how his district will change due to rezoning of the districts. - The committee learned that after the rezoning of districts takes place, district 2 would include Talleyrand. - On December 17, 2013 the committee met with Steve Dubb and his assistant of the Democracy Collaborative. - When implementation of the Cleveland model is completed in Jacksonville, we can expect to redirect as much as 200 million dollars back in the local economy. - The committee is now organizing meetings with the CEO of JEA, LISC, Edwards Waters College, The United Way, and City Council Members of NW Jacksonville districts.
