Jobs available! JOB DESCRIPTION Sanitation Technicians are responsible for cleaning an industrial food processing facility. Technicians are responsible for the daily sanitation of floors, stoves, broilers, mixers, coolers, etc. This position works closely with the Quality Control department to ensure all USDA and OSHA requirements are met on a daily basis. The following tasks are preformed to maintain a sanitary work area of a food production facility: • Follow all safety rules and procedures • Cleaning and sanitizing of food production equipment and remove debris from drains and drain pits. • Sanitize equipment using chemicals, power washers and/or dry cleaning techniques. • Heavy cleaning of coolers/freezers; Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs using manual tools and equipment. • Inspect equipment to assure sanitation requirements are met and Report all issues to supervisor/Lead. • Dusting and cleaning equipment, sinks, countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, wall mounted items, overheads and ducts. • Restock supplies on sanitation carts and in common areas. • All ENS employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures. JOB REQUIREMENTS/Working Conditions • GOOD WORKING HISTORY AND REFERENCES • ABLE TO PASS COMPANY DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK • AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE AS A SANITATION/JANITORIAL WORKER IN A WAREHOUSE ENVIRONMENT • RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION • ABLE TO WORK WITH APPROVED CLEANING SUPPLIES WEARING PROPER PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AT ALL TIMES. • ABLE TO WORK IN A MULTI-TEMPERATURE ENVIRONMENT INCLUDING FREEZER AND COOLER AREAS • HAIR NETS, EAR PLUGS/MUFFS, HARDHATS, RESPIRATORY PROTECTION, GLOVES, BOOTS, APRONS AND/OR SAFETY GLASSES/GOGGLES MAY BE REQUIRED. • ABILITY TO FREQUENTLY HANDLE MATERIAL FROM FLOOR-TO-WAIST, WAIST-TO-SHOULDER, SHOULDER-TO-OVERHEAD AND PUSHING/PULLING/CARRYING. • ABILITY TO CONSTANTLY STAND/WALK; BEND/FLEX/EXTEND/TWIST NECK AND BACK; FREQUENTLY GRIP/REACH/LIFT/PULL WITH L/R HANDS. • ABLE TO MEET PRODUCTIVITY STANDARDS • WORK WELL IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT • OSHA KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED PLEASE SUBMIT APPLICATION OR RESUME BY EMAIL ONLY CONTACT: ALES’HIA HORNE PHN: 763-293-3034 EMIAL: [email protected]
