Jodi shares: I have an IEP meeting for my 5 yr old son (asd, adhd). This is the first one where his diagnosis will be on file. My question is this: there are some things I would like my son to be able to have at school (for instance, a tactile cushion which was recommended by his psychologist) but I dont want to have to buy one for home and one for school. I know I have heard about schools purchasing these types of items for kids, but I have no idea how to go about it or what types of restrictions or guidelines there are for these things. I dont know if i matters or not, but we live in Kansas.
