Joe Hockey you are right poor people dont drive as much as others! For the very simple reason they can not afford it. Most low income families will have one car, to be a 2 car family is something they could only dream of. They use a car for essential things such as, going to work which is often many kms away, important appointments etc. mothers will walk children to school, after school activities etc this can be up to 5 Kms pushing babies and carrying toddlers. Life is very tough for many people. One needs to work with these families to fully understand the dreadful hardships they face every single day. To visit a family that have no furniture, they are sleeping on cushions and hard floors have no fridge, and as hard as it is to imagine some of the properties dont even have a stove. Im sure you will agree Joffa Corfe how can u educate ignorant arrogant men like Joe Hockey??? Im afraid the answer is you cant
