Joe and I attended a invitational dinner tonight presented by American Home Energy Audit. When we are guests in someones home and they say grace before dinner, that is entirely reasonable. And, I expect Christians will pray in Jesus name. This man, with a captive audience at a sales presentation, proceeded to say grace and to end with in Jesus name we pray.Then, he came to our table to share how amused he was on Mon. night when a Jewish lady confronted him about it. His reply was, Well, did you pray in Jesus name?. She said, No. So he said, Well, then its ok. I told him that I thought it was disrespectful and he told me to GET OUT! Those of you who know me well know how THAT went over. I had listened politely to his hour long spiel and I was GOING to eat my steak. My question is: In a business setting with a diverse group, was his behavior acceptable?
