Joel wrote--Insurance Question! I recently had a new socket made (with Rx and pre-approval) with a new insurance company and policy in a new state, Minnesota. I just received a letter from my (new, current) insurance saying: it appears the services may be the result of an accident or injury and states that more info is needed. Specifically they are asking me for prior insurance and attorney info as well as EOBs from previous claims. I may be wrong here, but considering this accident and amputation was years ago, while under a different policy held by a different company in a different state, this really shouldnt be any of their business or have an bearing over the claim, right?
