Johannesburg is going to see the back side of my head and I am not going to think twice about it anymore. We have lived here 20 years. In this time 2 of my cars have been stolen, I have been robbed once at an auto teller and once inside the bank. Tennants car has been stolen. 3 car radios stolen, I have been in the middle of 3 armed vehicle heists on money transport vehicles, Been present during 3 heists inside shopping malls, Been burgaled 8 times, Peters principal murdered, My neighbour stabbed seven times, One friend 200 meters aways head was bashed in by garbage collectors and her body only found 8 hours later, Another friend 3 blocks away was burgaled 26 times in a few months and the last time they shot and killed her husband. A neighbour committed suicide under perculiar situations. In our cul de sac between our 4 neighbours and us we can count 23 times we have been burgaled in the last 10 years. I can continue but.......do not want to bore you.
