John 1:1-4,In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word (Jesus)WAS God.The same was in the beginning with God.All things were made by him(Jesus); and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him(Jesus) was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. ~~~He is the Alpha and Omega the Beginning and the end. Jesus, the same yesterday, today and forever.......... God said let" us" make man in "our own " image. .....14-18And the Word (Jesus)was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. Colossians 1: (Hebrews 1:1-14 is also a reference) 15-20, Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him(Jesus), and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he(Jesus) is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him(Jesus) should all fullness dwell; and, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto HIMSELF; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
