John 10: 10 - The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life and have it to the full. What our city experienced last night was a command directly from the enemy. Children of God, why are we so surprised that this happened? Yes, my heart hurts, I am saddened by this madness, but Im not surprised. The enemy is on his job, but we that have proclaimed the name of Jesus, must get on ours. We must live our lives in a matter that will draw the lost. The bible tells us to be angry, but sin not! Hes speaking to His children, those that have accepted Him as our personal Lord & Savior. The world is lost, going about things from a Kingdom perspective makes absolutely no sense to them. We need more believers to take a stand for Righteousness & Holy living. If we cant get our acts together, arguing with people, cursing folk out, allowing our children to do whatever they want to do, whenever they want to do it, gossiping, reacting to situations the same way the world does, how dare us expect anything different from the world? Theres too many Christians on the fence, either climb on over to the Lords side or get off. The bible clearly says, in Matthew 6: 24; you cannot serve two masters, you either love the one and hate the other, or you will be devoted to one and despise the other. Joshua 24:15 says, if serving the lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve. See, God dont make you choose Him, He would love for everyone to, but it is our will. So stop being a Jesus freak one minute then a freak for the world the next. If your heart desire is to truly live for God, then we must learn to do & handle things His way, not allowing our flesh to control our every move. Deuteronomy 30: 19 says, God has set before us life & death, blessings & curses, Now choose life so that you and your children may live. Come on, children of God, its time to get serious about this life that we have chosen to live. This world is wicked and lost, lets get about our Fathers business & stop playing with this life. We are only passing through, we will all live in eternity either one of two places, Heaven or Hell, lets live our lives to get as many back to Heaven as we possibly can and Im not talking about just by your words and carrying your bible around. Your words and bible dont mean NOTHING to ANYBODY if your lifestyle doesnt line up. Lets get it together, please! James 5: 16 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Righteous people, get to praying that Gods will is done in this situation. If it sounds like Im angry, its because I am, but I will allow God to be God & have His way! I love you all, but God loves you more and Hes waiting on you with open arms, no matter what you have done. Even if you were one of the ones looting last night. Theres nothing we can do that will separate us from the Love of God!
