John 10:15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 AND OTHER SHEEP I HAVE WHICH ARE NOT OF THIS FOLD; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. (Paul spoke about this as the mystery of Christ in Eph 3:6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel, 7 of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.) John 10:17 “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” (Amazing when you think about it in this light: Sin causes death, Since Christ had no sin, Death had no power over him, and had he not GIVEN his life, NO ONE COULD TAKE IT. If he had not Given His life, He would have continued living, and yet because he gave his life when there was no sin in him to require death, He also had the power to take it back and through his sacrifice, not only HIS life, but the power to give Life to all who would receive Him!)
