John 14: 1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. Doing my daily bible reading the other day and I’d stopped at Chapter 13. After a brief break to pray and do a few things around the house I picked back up at Chapter 14. This verse jumped out at me and really touched my heart. It’s one of the many verses that we probably just read right over in our daily bible reading. Often times when reading do we just read to read and to complete the Bible again or are we reading and wanting to receive something from Gods word. I can’t really go into the complete detail of how much this verse helped me and everything. But I can say that I was teary eyed and had to take my glasses off for a few minutes. One thing I do know is after reading this verse and getting a hold of the meaning, the other 30 verses in this chapter had greater meaning. Take a minute to read that verse let it set in and then read thru to verse 31 that will do more for you than I could ever do in a little devotional.
