John 14:25-27 "These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Jesus had recently been teaching the disciples that He must go and prepare the way for all who believe in Him to come and be with Him forever. They were afraid of what would happen to them if He left. This perfectly normal human response had to be countered with a supernatural reply. Jesus assured them that the Father would send the Holy Spirit in His name and that the Spirit would lead them and teach them all things. The Spirit is still with us today and is guiding us and teaching us. We need to get the whole Church to recognize the presence and authority of the Spirit. When that happens we will be unstoppable (except for our own disbelief) and will be bold in leading the lost (even many in the Church) to a true relationship with Jesus. Come Holy Spirit!
