John Barleycorn Must Die saw Traffic start to crack the North American market assisted by the spread and popularity of USA FM radio when longer tracks were starting to be played on- air. A fascinating mix of folk, jazz and rock that caught the publics imagination. Many a joint has been rolled on that album cover and it seemed to be in everyones record collection, or under a greatcoat-wearing hippys arm.
