Follow DCMarvelFreshman: By DCMarvelFreshman - 2/3/2014 While premiering his new zombie movie Life After Beth at last weeks Sundance Film Festival, actor John C. Reilly, who plays Rhomann Dey in Guardians of the Galaxy, talked briefly about his role in the forthcoming Marvel film. “Oh, its great... I got to be in London,” he told Flicks And The City when they asked about filming the James Gunn-directed adaptation. “Other than that, I think Marvel would put me in handcuffs if I say another single word about it.” The interviewer then pressed Reilly a little further for details on Guardians of the Galaxy by asking what it was like working with the actors in their alien makeup, versus seeing them on-set out of costume. “Well, its funny... Ive played characters that had extreme looks before too, and I think what happens with actors is that [they] just forget,” said John Reilly. “You just forget whats on your face because youre just looking out through your eyes of course. Working with Zoe [Saldana] - I only met her one time when she wasnt the color green - I think, on the last day, and I was like Youre beautiful and she was like thanks. Before he officially signed on, it was reported that John C. Reillys role as Nova Corps officer Rhomann Dey will be “designed as the Agent Coulson of the Guardians movies” and hell be the “primary face of normal humanity.” What do you think?
