John Wesley once said, It seems God is limited by our prayer life - that he can do nothing for humanity unless someone asks him. Ephesians 6:18 says, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, The key to victory in our lives is prayer. The key to power in our walk is prayer. The key to overcoming all areas of our lives is prayer. Prayer is vital to the believer, its such a necessity that Christ prayed continually. Jesus even prayed for Peter, when he said in Luke 22:32, But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.” If Jesus prayed, if the Disciples prayed, if Paul prayed continually, how much more should we pray? If we expect God to meet our needs, answer our prayers, guide us toward his will, then prayer is a must for the believer. If you lack in your prayer life, I encourage you to start today making prayer a priority in your life. That is the secret to getting God to move - prayer. Without a proper prayer life, you will no proper walk and it will lead to a weak Christian walk. Pray, seek and then pray some more. That is the key to God - prayer.
