John just left for intervention radiology to mark his incision - TopicsExpress

John just left for intervention radiology to mark his incision spot and he will go to OR from there. Just wanted to share how good God is with you all. The surgeon told us last night after reviewing Johns mri he asked two things. Is this man still walking and where is he? We are so thankful to God for preventing injury to the spinal cord by this tumor that obviously grew alot faster in the last couple of months. Also John was doubtful last night and had a bit of fear towards the surgery. We prayed last night together for peace and to remove the spirit of fear. This morning the anesthesiologist came in this morning and saw my bible open. He asked me what I was reading and I told him the book of Psalms. He then told us he was reading Psalms this morning as well. He then proceeded to pray over John and he asked God for leadership in the OR room. He made it a point to tell us he will be praying over John in the OR room. John literally cried and praised God for his grace. He went before us and provided us what we needed, his confirmation and peace. We are in awe of our amazing God. Oh how he loves us! Risks that we need to pray against: paralysis, spinal cord injury, hemorrhage due to the size of the tumor, infection, and cerebral spinal fluid leak. Thank you for prayers. I appreciate you standing with us in prayer! Psalms 121:1-2 I lift up my eyes to the hills- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.
