Johnson Johnson Wrote: First Half: Victor Ndoma-Egba 3 ---- 0 Liyel Imoke/John Okon/ Owan-Enoh Early this week when I wrote that Victor Ndoma-Egba’s men won in 51 wards and Liyel Imoke’s men got the rest of the 66 wards in the central senatorial district, I was almost crucified. I was dealing on facts and not rumour. What I want to add is that by Tuesday in the morning the number of wards for Ndoma-Egba had increased to 54 after the congresses appeal panel addressed the petitions before it. The victory was followed with a court injunction obtained by patriotic members of the PDP in the state was to ensure that the results of the congresses were not changed as demanded by Liyel Imoke and John Okon. Remember, I my last post, I said not even Liyel Imoke and John Okon can change the results. Now to Imoke and John Okon’s so-called suspension of Ndoma-Egba , Jedy –Agba , Vena Ikem , Ernest Irek and others: The action is borne out of anger and frustration because they know they have been roundly defeated by Victor Ndoma-Egba. Don’t also forget that the so-called suspension came about 24 hours after Donald Duke brought Jedy Agba to Calabar to lampoon Liyel Imoke and Gersom Bassey. Note: John Okon has no powers to suspend anybody. The so-called exco meeting was attended by only 7 members since the majority of the members distance themselves from the meeting. John Okon blamed the national officers who came to conduct the congresses because he is on the losing side with his principal Liyel Imoke. Is it not funny that the same John Okon who declared the congresses and peaceful and successful should suddenly accuse the national officers of fraud and compromise? By this action John Okon has confirmed incontrovertibly that Ndoma-Egba’s men carried the day. Since John Okon was not the man saddled with the responsibility of conducting the congresses, is it not clear that he was simply a meddlesome interloper in the conduct of the congresses. John Okon accused the national officers of fraud and compromise, yet he has told the world how he took the national officers to Liyel Imoke and how he hosted them. Please John Okon should defend himself against accusations by some of us who know that taking the national officers to Liyel Imoke , the leader of the PDP was a deliberate design by him and Liyel Imoke to bribe and compromise the national officers? I challenge John Okon to dispute the fact that millions of naira of tax payers money in cross river state was not taken to by Liyel Imoke and John Okon’s proxies to Transcorp Metropolitan Hotel in the night of Sunday/early hours of Monday to bribe the national officers who came to conduct the election. Honestly, what I cannot confirm is whether they successfully gave the money to the officers. If they succeeded, later developments have shown that they only wasted the scarce financial resources of Cross River. I think John Okon is in the right position to tell us what happened to the millions of naira since it was passed through the State PDP Secretariat. John Okon and his principal are only crying over the defeat they have suffered having underrated Victor Ndoma-Egba, the distinguished senate leader; a very brilliant man. Addendum: Now that President Goodluck Jonathan has given automatic ticket to two PDP senators per state, I think the game is over as Victor Ndoma –Egba is winning on all fronts; (1) Ward Congresses, (2) PDP National Headquarters and (3) Presidency. Therefore the first half result is Victor Ndoma-Egba 3 --0 Liyel Imoke/Owan-Enoh/John Okon. Two more goals expected from Victor Ndoma-Egba, one at the primaries and the second at the senatorial election. Advise: These losers are advised to join the Tambuwal in the APC. After all they created him. On Goddy Jedy Agba: By announcing the suspension from PDP, John Okon has confirmed that he is a confused jester and incurable liar. Is it not the same John Okon that told us some -time ago that Jedy Agba is not a member of PDP? The question is: Why should John Okon announce that Jedy Agba has been suspended if Jedy Agba is not a member of PDP? I will keep you posted on factual developments.
