Flagstaff House “over chops GHȻ44m The seat of Government – the Flagstaff House – has reportedly overspent its budgetary allocation for the 2014 fiscal year by over GHȻ44 million, even before the year runs out. 2. NPA RULES OUT REDUCTION IN FUEL PRICES FOR NOW The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has stated that it will not review downwards the prices of petroleum products in spite of falling global prices. 4. Parliament approves GH¢400,000 for SADA Parliament has approved an amount of GH¢400,000 as budgetary allocation for the controversial Savannah Accelerated Development Authority (SADA). The amount is meant for the services to be delivered by SADA in 2015. 5. Zabzugu chief murdered The Chief of Salinkuga, a suburb of Zabzugu in the Northern Region has been murdered by unknown assailants. According to a family source on grounds of anonymity, the late Naa Sumani Tigu was shot on Tuesday evening at about 8:30 pm . The cause of the incident is yet to be established.
