Join Samhain Queer Ancestor Celebration Event this Thursday - The london faeries invite you to a samhain ritual and celebration at beautiful wheatsheaf hall in vauxhall. This will be a celebration of inspirational queer ancestors and our own intentions and aspirations on the night of traditional Celtic New Year. Well have a ritual to focus our energies and draw support for our adventures and plans in the coming year. Well have a drumming circle and dance with the ancestors we invoke. Please bring along food and drink to share, and think of queer ancestors you want to celebrate. Were thinking of queer artists, writers, poets, gods and goddesses, spirits, activists and inspirational figures who have made a positive difference in the queer community. Wheatsheaf Hall is a fabulous venue for a faerie party. Drag up in your Samhain finest if you so wish! Doors open at 8pm - if you want be part of the ritual please try to arrive by 8.30 so that the ritual time can as free from disturbance as possible, otherwise come from about 9ish. If you arrive during the ritual, please be aware that it is in progress and keep disturbance to a minimum. Smal donation requested towards venue hire
