Join the Department of Theology for the 56th annual Bellarmine Lecture at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, in the Pere Marquette Gallery in DuBourg Hall. Elizabeth Johnson, C.S.J., will present Is Gods Charity Broad Enough for Bears? Creation and the God of Love. Johnson is the Distinguished Professor of Theology at Fordham University. She is known for her pioneering work in feminist theology and, more recently, ecological theology. Among her many books are She Who Is: The Mystery of God in Feminist Theological Discourse,Truly Our Sister: A Theology of Mary in the Communion of Saints and Friends of God and Prophets: A Feminist Theological Reading of the Communion of Saints.
