Join the Northeastern Nevada Museum this 4th of July as we get back to our roots and celebrate the old fashioned way! A children’s parade through the park to the museum will kick off our celebration, line-up starting at 9:30 am in the Chamber of Commerce parking lot. Decorate your wagons, scooters, bikes and yourselves in Red, White and Blue, the first 25 entries will receive a prize for participating. The celebration continues in the park behind the Museum with games such as Tug ‘O War, three legged races, watermelon eating contests and many more. Along with all the fun will be a patriotic lesson teaching appreciation and understanding of what it means to be an American. Bring your family to a traditional celebration on America’s birthday this year at the Northeastern Nevada Museum! Friday, July 4th 10:00am – 12:00pm.
