Jonathan’s declaration good omen for Nigeria – TTG Following preparations for the formal declaration of the re-election bid of President Goodluck Jonathan on November 11, 2014, on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Think Tank Group (TTG) said on saturday that the move was a good omen for Nigeria and Nigerians. This was contained in a statement signed by the National Chairman, TTG, Air Vice Marshal Omatsola Okorodudu (rtd), who also commended the President for indicating interest to seek re-election and throw his hat in the ring to contest 2015 presidential election. The statement described the declaration as historic for Nigeria’s unity, development and stability, which Okorodudu said Jonathan has been able to achieve for the past three years, no matter the challenges his administration has had to contend with. TTC said, “It is no longer news that our dear amiable leader, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, has finally indicated interest to be the candidate of his political party, the Peoples Democratic Party, in the forth-coming 2015 presidential election.”
