This guys story really does break my heart. Brandon was a 20 year old guy who was arrested by the Missouri Water Patrol on the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. His hands were handcuffed behind his back and he was given a life jacket that didnt fit. The officer then sped off at such a speed that Brandon fell in the water. He managed to stay afloat for several minutes but the officer didnt jump in to help him until an onlooker shouted for help. Sadly it was too late and Brandon drowned. The officer and the Water Patrol were cleared of any wrongdoing in a whitewashed investigation that was a travesty - so Im working with Brandons mom to try and help get accountability and prevent this from ever happening again.
