Jose Andreu (ACE program faculty) Humble Metaphors Opening: July 26, 6:00 p.m. July 26–August 23, 2013 The Bridgeport Art Center, 1200 W. 35th St., Chicago, IL Humble Metaphors is a three person exhibition at the Bridgeport Art Center. BAC curator, Lelde Kalmite, selected three artists from the first annual BAC competition show for a more comprehensive exposition of their work. Each of these artists uses common objects such as rubber bands, paper boats, and women’s underclothes, to fashion metaphors about larger issues.
