Jose Mourinho : Eden Hazard Is Not A Team Player. Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has publically criticised Eden Hazards commitment to the team in response comments the player made about his managers tactic earlier this week. Following Chesleas Champions League semi-final exit at the hands of Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night, Hazard questioned Mourinhos tactical approach to the game. He told French broadcaster beIN SPORTS, Chelsea arent set up to play football. However, Mourinho has now hit back at the recently crowned PFA Young Player of the Year, saying When the comments come from a player like Eden its normal because hes not the kind of player to sacrifice himself for the team. The Belgian was arguably to blame for two of the goals Chelsea conceded against Atletico after neglecting his defensive duties and Mourinho is clearly not best pleased with Hazards attitude: Im not happy. Ive tried to improve him all season. Speaking at his Friday press conference, the manager went on to say: [Hazard] is not mentally ready to look to his left-back and leave his life for him. Normally you get these kind of comments from players like him, from players that cant resolve a problem like we had with the first goal. If you see Atleticos first goal, you completely understand where the mistake was and why we conceded that goal. Hazard is one of the worlds top talents, but it seems he still has a lot to learn.
