Journey through Hell from Italy! Just arrived back this morning at 3am; 11 hours waiting for the flight, 1 hour to Germany - 2 hours waiting for next flight then 1.25 hours to Birmingham......... except the pilot was worried the engine was about to drop off so, 10 minutes from home decided to divert to Heathrow so his mate could check the plane over.. 1 hour wait for coach to Birmingham - 2 hours to Birmingham and then a £40 taxi fare to my nest. Lots of clattering and bumping around on the flight and being greeted by fire engines and ambulances on the runway was entertaining though! :-) ........ ooooh! and the in flight meal was potato salad with little bits of toastie things.
