Joy Greenberg tagged me in 3 days of gratitude challenge. I have no problem being grateful, and sharing about it. (day 1) 1. I am grateful for my family, all of the things they are doing and directions they are choosing. I have 3 beautiful step children now, and an equally beautiful wife. She shines from the inside because of the way she lives her life, her belief system is strong, she is loving and encouraging. It is because of her nurturing way, her fairness and love that she raised these children to be what they will be. For this, I am grateful. 2. I am grateful to be alive. Because life today is so promising, you truly get out what you put in. I have been successful and not so successful in many things, if I had a chance to go back and change any of it- I would not. It makes me who I am today, and the lessons were valuable, assuming I was able to find the lesson. I am grateful to be a proud student of Washington State University, a Senior no less. My journey through education has been made possible through perseverance, many late nights and support from my wife and family, but most notably Don Greenberg, (my amazing dad) who has been a huge advocate of my journey and the catalyst for my return to school. Since that day my dad told me what he thought would be best - I have achieved my Associates, and god willing- my Bachelors of Social Science in 2015. 3. I am grateful I have many things to be grateful for. I have a knack for taking things for granted and find relief and solace knowing that when I do so, I typically am given a little nudge from the universe to remember to say thank you. Egs., when I am sick- I am reminded I had good health before, when I cannot afford something I want, I am reminded of all the things I already have.
