Joyce Pierce > Eric Pierce It is a very sad day, especially for your Dad, since you are not here with us as we know it on earth. However, we know you are with us in spirit and watching over us. It hurts so much that you are gone, but we are so thankful that we were given the option to be with you to the end. You could not speak with all of your tubes, but you made it very clear that you knew each time we said "WE LOVE YOU" because you squeezed our hands so tight until the very end. When the ICU doctor called the CODE OFF at 1:33 AM, we knew that we must let go because God had other plans for you. Time will never fade these moments and I must have time to myself to just sit and cry about it because I try to stay strong for Daddy and Roger. With much love always until we meet again!!!!
