Juco has been developed to take the best properties of both jute and cotton to create the ideal eco alternative to reusable cotton and plastic bags. As these bags are made mostly from jute (75%), they have a very low ecological impact, with a smaller water footprint and a carbon footprint nearly 4 times smaller than the equivalent cotton bag. JUCO (52 x 28 fabric ) is made from cotton and jute fibers and has a tighter, finer weave. It contains 52 cotton strands woven vertically by 28 jute strands horizontally per square inch (2.54 cms). It has a finer “ linen-like” appearance and is recommended for premium bags. All of our standard bags have a thin “food grade” LDPE (laminated) lining, which is adhered to the fabric and easily wipes clean
