Jul 6 at 11:20 PM Well the 4th took it’s toll on us – we are very full. Please look at the URGENT dogs first, they are in the most danger. They could be put down tomorrow if space is needed. I am hoping to get a transport together Tues or Wed. But any assistance (like picking up animals directly from the shelter) is greatly appreciated. We are a small rural type shelter – 18 dog runs and 12 cat cages. We double and triple the little dogs as much as possible but with this many dogs in the shelter time is of the essence. Remember the available date is the last day of the 5 day holding period and is the day that the dog can be adopted, rescued or euthanized if no interest. Any dog with available date of 7/7 or before is in danger of being put down. Also, OR = Owner Released (surrendered). OR’d animals can go to rescue or be adopted at any time, they do not have to wait the whole 5 day holding period. Please let me know ASAP by calling, texting or emailing me if you can help. This little guy is my pick of the week. Can you say cuddle-bug? He just wanted me to hold and hug him. Approximately 4 months old and 5-7 lbs. Last available date is 7/5/14. URGENT#1192, Female. This sweet puppy is listed as a Chi-Cocker Spaniel but my guess is she is a Lab-Weimaraner-Chi-Terrier/hunting dog. Did you get that? Just look at her! Her coat is very exotic looking with browns and blues. Yes, she is frightened as this is her first day but that didnt stop her from allowing me to hold and snuggle with her along with her kennel mates. She weighs approximately 7-10 lbs. and still has her baby teeth. The last day of her 5 day hold is 7/6/14. 1219 F Terrier, 1-2 years old, tan, 25-30 pounds, a little shy, well groomed, avail. 7/9
