Julia attended a photo shoot yesterday for the Childrens Cancer Fund and had a blast. She was thrilled to meet the honorary board members of CCF, Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach....wow! The photo shoot was for the kiddos who will be participating for the first time in the Childrens Cancer Fund fashion show taking place in April, 2015. This is the organizations big fundraiser and Julia cant wait to walk the red carpet.:) Were so grateful for the Childrens Cancer Fund organization and their dedication to funding pediatric cancer research. Sweet Julia and all these awesome kiddos deserve better treatment and a cure! Im so proud of Julias spirit and determination, by the way. She woke up today and had really bad muscle spasms in her back...unfortunately, this happens every time she goes off of her monthly steroid pulse and lasts for a few days. She was so worried about missing school, but was in too much pain to move. I gave her a muscle relaxer and she asked me to go over her spelling words and times tables while she waited for the medicine to take effect. As soon as she had some relief, she was rushing to go and only ended up being an hour late. Love that little trooper so much! Thank you all for traveling this journey with us and helping keep us strong!
